NJSTA is a conglomerate of shooting sports clubs offering registered and competitive trapshooting across the Garden State. We are the official ATA affiliate for New Jersey, and our member clubs run the registered shoots, club big-50 events, and league competition that keep the sport alive in this corner of the Northeast.
Each member club elects a delegate to NJSTA. That delegate represents the club at NJSTA proceedings, votes on association matters, and serves as the bridge between the state association and the people on the firing line every weekend.

NJSTA is the New Jersey state affiliate of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and a host for its AIM youth program.

The Governing Body
The Amateur Trapshooting Association is the governing body for American-style trapshooting. With nearly 1,000 affiliated clubs and more than 6,000 registered tournaments a year, the ATA shapes the rules, sanctions the shoots, and connects shooters across the country and around the world.

ATA Youth Program
Academics, Integrity, Marksmanship. The ATA’s youth program gives shooters from elementary school through college a safe and competitive path into registered trap. AIM runs state shoots, awards scholarships, and stages the AIM Grand each summer.
