NJSTA recognizes the shooters whose careers and contributions have shaped trapshooting in New Jersey. Each inductee is honored for sustained excellence on the line and service off it.

Thomas Clarke

Born June 24, 1964, Providence, Rhode Island

Introduced to shooting at age 7. Excelled in small bore rifle before transitioning to trapshooting in 1979.

Married Frances Zampella in 1987. Four children, six grandchildren.

Returned to competitive trapshooting in 2004 after raising his family.

Robert W. Long ("Bobby")

Born 1943, Staten Island

Joined ATA in 1984 at age 40, introduced to trapshooting by his brother Jimmy in 1983.

Maintained "AA" year average in singles for 7 years starting in 2008.

Three grandchildren, expecting first great-grandchild.
